40 gallon gas h2o heater, model# RG240T6N. Unknown to me, comes with a 90 day warranty. That's it. So now 18 months later, control not working. Pilot won't stay calorie-free because led low-cal won't role. I used to buy Home Depot wh - they lasted 4 years. A so called top water heater - Bradford White only lasted 18 months. Looks like I'm going back to Home Depot. I do not recommend.

We recently installed the Aerotherm heat pump water heater from Bradford White. I was worried virtually noise levels considering of the location within our house but with the vents attached we are experiencing but under 50 dba from iii feet (56 dba @ three feet without vents). Have been running information technology on heat pump only fashion for two weeks now and have experienced consistent hot water. Just fantastic and our natural gas bill has dropped significantly (vs. our old natural gas water heater which was besides Bradford White and reached end of life without any issues). I wish the tank had some of the avant-garde scheduling features, etc. that its competition has just the low noise level and consistent hot water are excellent.

Bradford White not take responsibility and comprehend labor price of replacing ii hot water heaters inside v years. Brand new house built in 2016 1st HWH breaks in 2019, under warranty was replaced, only I was out $1000 in labor, 2021 replaced once again, under warranty, only, I am out $2000 in labor. At lest this time they offered a $500 check every bit a goodwill gesture, in 2019 I got zippo! Stand past your products and practice the right matter!

We bought our house in 2019 and the contractor who built the business firm installed a nice Bradford White hybrid water heater. This water heater ran great with no issues until the twenty-four hours before Christmas Eve of 2021. My wife noticed that the water in her shower was non very hot. I came abode from piece of work that night to check it out and noticed that the water heater seemed to have no power. The fancy console/motherboard was black and would not reset with the reset button. I had to stay home from work on Christmas Eve day and beginning called Bradford White which had a recorded message that they were closed for the holidays. I then called a local company to come and take a look at information technology. They stated they did not service our area.
Three phone calls subsequently and a company said they would come await at it, which they did. Nevertheless, they could not practise anything. They did state nosotros had ability to the water heater, only they could not practice anything else. I had to call another company from a town an hour abroad and had to pay a $350 service charge for them to come out. They came out and looked everything over. This service man had a lot of experience and stated that the motherboard in the h2o heater was dead and needed to exist replaced. Nonetheless, he stated it was cheaper to replace the water heater than guild a motherboard. Well, we needed hot water, then this squeamish service man went dorsum into town to get another water heater, came all the way back out and replaced our h2o heater with a Rheem. Needless to say, our total nib was $2,800.
Fast forward to after the Christmas holiday, I chosen Bradford White and spoke to a customer service agent named Jada. She worked with me on the telephone, seemed very overnice and stated they would practise what they could to assistance reimburse the cost of the h2o heater as it was under a x year warranty. She stated she would recollect the next twenty-four hours. She did call back the next 24-hour interval and stated they were "still working on it." Since this time, I have non heard from her or the company and I have called three times, left three messages, with no response. This visitor does not stand up behind the guaranteed warranty. I still have yet to hear from this company for any reimbursement at all. I would accept even been happy with some of the cost in reimbursement. Exercise not buy from Bradford White. They practice not help their customers or stand up by their guaranteed warranty.

Terrible product, lasted 2 years. By comparison my previous unit of measurement lasted 20. Why would they put a microprocessor on the bottom of a fifty gallon h2o tank? Consummate and total blueprint flaw. Also reflects poorly on the installer.

Bradford White URG250T6N 50 gal water heater. Installed by plumber. ten year warranty. Started gushing h2o in 2 ane/2 years and flooded my garage. They honored the warranty on the water heater, but I'm yet out $500 for a plumber. Very unsatisfactory. Client service said they would not comprehend the labor fifty-fifty though the unit merely lasted 2 1/2 years. That's not actually standing backside your product.

Bradford White has to be the worst water heater in being. A terrible product! I've had 3 Bradford White electric water heaters in 10 years. Information technology seems similar it's the simply water heater that plumbers behave and I think it's because they know they won't last and can make coin constantly replacing them. Anyways I had a fifteen year old Rheem replaced with a Bradford White. Within two years it started leaking. The h2o heater was under warranty, but installation costs weren't, so I had to pay to have it replaced. This ane lasted about two years before it started to leak too. Same story - under warranty, but had to pay to have it installed.
Adjacent water heater lasted 6 years earlier water started pouring out of the bottom heating chemical element door. This water heater is no longer under warranty and I can't detect any plumber who doesn't acquit annihilation besides Bradford White. Why would a plumbing company comport such an inferior product unless they programme to make money on service calls? Avoid these water heaters at all cost!!!!

We purchased our Bradford White electrical water heater in 2015. In 2019, its motherboard burnt and luckily it was however nether warranty. We spent $700 to become new water heater installed. Fast forrad, two years later on, our water heater is leaking an immense amount of water from the lesser. Our plumber does non believe that the visitor will replace another. DO Not buy this water heater!!! 2 water heaters in 6 years is just ridiculous. They should be aback of themselves...

Ours died just later three months. Nosotros installed it July 2021 and hither we go with no hot h2o October 2021. I have ii blinks on the diagnostic lite. Reading online it looks like a faulty pressure switch. Everything else running off natural gas in house works fine. My cheap big box water heater lasted at least 3 years earlier it started having issues. Nosotros'll see what the service visitor says in the morning.

Our plumber installed a new Bradford White water heater in our new house. Two months subsequently, it started making a very loud buzzing/rattling noise. And and so it started spilling h2o into the tray below, eventually flooding our laundry room. BW replaced the faulty heater, but they refused to pay for the reinstallation. So I ended up paying ~$600 to install the aforementioned h2o heater twice in about 3 months. My agreement is that their competitors have better warranties for when things go wrong. Would *not* recommend buying a BW heater.
